Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Aug 03, 2017 5:17 pm Hi There Can someone help me, i got Storm wtaer pit at m,y backyard which is 3mt deep to my land area and i have to cover it with timber sleepers so my kids dont fall into it, But council are saying I am not supposed to cover and leave it open. Can someone advice what I can do Re: Covering Storm Water Pit 2Aug 03, 2017 5:58 pm Cover it. What is the council going to do? I'd look at getting a steel grate or mesh rather than timber sleeper. By all means place timber sleepers/decking over the steel to make it more aesthetically pleasing.
