oh and the boxes above the door/porch are called matrix panels. there are four panels on the front, and two on sides. they are only panels, that are painted. thanks! 7Aug 24, 2008 11:30 am thank you to all of your comments so far
and in particular, thank you to d@n. thats a great impression of the house - just missed one little thing - the tiling on the porch needs to be same as door surround. but dont worry about it , youve done a terrific job! and what program did you use?? i tried using paint, but it turned out horribly wrong. and how did you get the roof tiles so perfect?? thanks to all Building Atlantique Mk 2 with Carlisle Homes. (and bug collecting) No lights or anything ? I find that whole front section sort of odd. The misaligned interior window panels and grab-bag of textures unsettles me somehow. Do the hard jobs first. Roof tiles is just a bit of line art with the perspective to match the roof lines. Not perfect but good enough for this exercise. The colours are great though & the style of the house is lovely. It just needs a little simplifying.
