I don't think its the colour thats a concern, more just that you can see visible brushstrokes.

Nobody told me this before I tried them on the walls. There is one wall in the lounge that has 3 different samples on it, and one in the bedroom (the future feature wall) that also has 3 colours on it, and 2 are quite dark. I’ve mentioned this to the painter and they think it shouldn’t be a problem. Can they just somehow get rid of the colour?
