We moved in new house for about one month and encountered some weird issue. The lights are still partially on even light switches are turned off. I called my own electrician to track down the cause of the issue. Eventually I was told Metricon's electrician made a terrible mistake at circuit breaker. The red wire is connected to Neutral and black with Line which should be other way around. As a result, if there is any metal component in the lights and we touch the lights by chance, we will be killed immediately.
Is there any institution we can lodge a formal complaint? Metricon did not reply after I reported this terrible mistake to them. I also think about seeking compensation so they can take the customer's safety seriously. Is there any institution I can talk regarding compensation (ACCC)?
