Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Apr 29, 2017 10:52 am Hi all I have an issue which Im hoping someone maybe able to give me advice on as I am at a loss. We have only recently purchased purchased our house and after the first down pour i noticed we had excessive water pooling under our house. We have a 2 story house with extensions added on the back (on piers). There is a substantial area under the extension were the water is pooling against a wall and a peir and due to this is flooding through to the room where the water is pooling against the wall. We are on a sloped block so i thought it was due to water running under the house so I recently had put heaps of drainage (agi pipe) put through the back yard. However the water is still pooling so I have dug a sump pit and put in a submersible pump which appears to working ok, although due to the excessive amount of water which continues to pool the sump pit fills quickly (in a couple of hours). I have been informed that when then extension was put on the builders may have interrupted the water plain and this may be where the water may be coming from, seeping through and pooling?? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Jeremy Re: excessive water pooling under house 2Apr 29, 2017 11:08 am JDL1973 How high is the water table, type of soil, etc,?
