Will he check if all variations have been included? What do you think is required by the private inspector for PCI? Re: PCI inspection by private inspector 2Apr 28, 2017 5:16 pm Hi Vandy The PCI is generally a condition inspection, so the report provides an opinion on the condition of the home at the time of the inspection. The report at a minimum should detail major and minor defects which are visible within the scope of a non-invasive inspection as defined in the relevant Australian Standards. The items that you mention should be able to be included if specified at the time of the inspection agreement however this may vary from company to company and it is likely that additional fees would be applicable. Hope this helps. If you already have a contract, is the inspection cost stated in there? If not they would be forced to issue you a variation which you could of course object to. 12 25846 I would send it to the certifier who is technically your representative and working on your behalf not the builder's 1 2252 Hi everyone, Looking for some advise.
