Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Apr 10, 2017 8:52 pm G'day everyone. Just wondering what people are doing or have done about land insurance on their vacant block before the builders come in? We've paid a deposit on our block and don't settle til June, so are looking at insurance to cover us for any mishaps on our land that may occur before we do contracts with a builder and they come on site. Had a look online and a couple of places online charge around $150.00 to cover a block up to about a 1/2 acre with 20 million cover. AAMI quoted $750.00 for the year for similar. Just wondering what your experiences are? Re: Land Insurance before build starts? 2Apr 10, 2017 10:48 pm rattleAU G'day everyone.
