Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Apr 02, 2017 6:52 pm Hi everyone, I am currently blank with ideas on how to get our Dual Occupancy plan we have. No Builder would start to work with us as our current house is downward sloping from the street. Council advised that we need permission from our rear neighbour for a stormwater easement. We have sent 2 letters and a few phone calls to the Real Estate (rear neighbours are renting) for the past month and no reply. We are now trying the neighbour to the back right from us as advised by Council. Council advised that they won't accept any other options as they want GRAVITY to get stormwater back to the street and nothing else. I am wondering if anyone has had any luck with Blacktown Council regarding this. For sure this can't be the only option. Good for us we haven't started the project but what about others who have already paid deposit are in a tight spot. There has to be a better way than praying neighbours would agree. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
