Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Nov 25, 2016 7:03 pm Hi, I am checking a new release of land estate. Currently it is a farm land and on engineering drawings i got , all the lots have marked Structural land fill from range 200 - 400mm. Will it be a issue if i buy the land there ? It is in Melbourne north Wollert , Arramont estate if this helps. What sort of additional costs i need to bear in future due to this ? Thanks Re: Buying a lot with 200-400mm land fill 2Nov 26, 2016 8:28 am We bought a block with almost 3-4m of fill in some areas - it was tightly compacted so not too much extra was needed - we needed 100m of piering on a 180m house and we also had an M class slab - we did build our house up further on the fill as well so that affected us - but it wasn't too much more cost or issues we are in NSW Re: Buying a lot with 200-400mm land fill 3Nov 26, 2016 8:29 pm Thanks for reply. I checked with Land developer today before purchasing , they will issue us the Level 1 Compaction certificate for filling. So i went ahead with the purchase. All builders were saying they need Level 1 compaction certificate to give fixed site costs. Yeah I don't know why I came to a forum. Place is full of wierdos/pedos thought internet may help but I suppose I'll try my luck with someone in person. Cheers. I tried… 0 6442 2 4350 yeah i couldnt picture it issue either, but i could clearly picture what they were doing wrong haha 2 5295 |
