How would you improve family bathroom? I must add, this bathroom is for my 2 kids use only. I checked the orientation of the house because I know that south facing also has sun and is light, if not sunny all the time. It is not 100% north-south, but sightly on an angle. So, the southern side is actually more south-east. The living room will be in full sun all the time, but we had dining on this side of the house in the one we knocked down and it is not as nice as one may think. We definitely want an abundance of light but not too much direct sun. Regarding study - you are right, I have a lot of paperwork on the farm, but there is a study in pool area which is one of the reasons it is connected to the house. I was also thinking of en-suite / master bedroom layout - can this be improved? If your living area faces south then it might get ambient light but it won't get sunlight. There's s good book from the govt about solar orientation but I forget what it's called, sorry. But then again it sounds like you're well down the track. Good luck.
