Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Oct 18, 2016 2:39 pm Hi All, We are still in the early stages of building, not gone to pre-start yet. We are on an acre block and have access to mains water. Was wanting to find out which would be better option in regards to handling rainfall from the roof? Are we better putting in a large rainwater tank and diverting all the down pipes to there, or setting up some form of soak well option instead? We are in Perth, so long dry summers and short wet winters. Cost is the most important reason behind why I would go one way as opposed to another. We have 400m2 of roof area.
