Re: Need ur opinion about this floor plan 11Oct 30, 2016 12:05 am I think it's built too close to your northern boundary, which will stop you receiving sunshine in the winter. You want to shift the building to the left, building as close as you can to the southern boundary. Of course this is all dependent on what's to your north & south, & the lay of the land etc. The building envelope looks pretty huge for your last plan, taking up a much larger proportion of the block. Looks like lots & lots of wasted space around the entrance & hallways. Lots of triangular spaces, as bashworth says, this adds to costs, as it's harder for the tradies to build.
