We had chosen timber stacker after deciding not to do timber bifolds as the screening is not ideal. Our builder has told us that we can't screen the stackers on the outside due to the width and step down of the alfresco.. and that they can only be screened on the inside.. Has anyone done this?? Aesthetically, I'm not sure how I feel about this option.. Otherwise we need to do aluminium which I know is not a 'bad' option, but I'm feeling quite disheartened as it wasn't what we wanted. I don't want to screen with retractable screens as they feel a little flimsy and we have a young child and 2 dogs (this is was we reverted back to the timber stackers from the bifolds, as we want crimsafe).
