Thanks to my DH, he has 'made' this house for me.. it looks great.. Next assignment will be the driveway and front garden, we will need to design it and give it to the builder at contract date, so that they can submit together for approval Blog - http://clageonewhouse.blogspot.com/ Building Thread - viewtopic.php?f=31&t=10886&hilit=milan I am in, with my husband and my beautiful bunny Re: My 'photoshop' new house 3Jul 28, 2008 6:07 pm Thanks Paula
Yes, he will be doing the driveway and front garden.. He is searching all the plants and getting information.. A challenge is these plants have to be drought proof.. may go to some nursery to have a look this weekend... I also made it a nicer day and greened up the grass (optimistic!) =P
It's really good to have a visual isn't it? Can't wait to see your landscaping! A first draft of the front garden... very simple design.. After looking for all those drought proof plants, we decided to use Lavender only... The upper and lower levels will have some sands (14mm Scoria) and in the middle will be some soft fall mulch We tried not to put too many plants... just want to keep it simple and clean... but still thinking if we should put some more, properly in front of the bedroom window... Any comments would be appreciated... We are trying to use white sand and brown mulch, hopefully it can create some contrast with the plants... thinking of the combination of pink/purple Lavender My DH actually prefer Red Gum Mulch, but i think it is too red as we have RED brick already...
