Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Aug 02, 2016 11:54 am Hi, We need to lay an AG pipe to drain away ground water (not storm water), but local Council said we can't connect it to the storm water pipe or drain it into the gutter, because possible contamination. Can anyone suggest other solutions? Thank you very much. The water needs to be drained away is not storm water, but water from under ground water table, not from roof gutters. If it can't be connected to storm water, where can they be connected? Many thanks Sunnie Re: AG Pipe connection 4Aug 02, 2016 1:23 pm It can be connected to the stormwater provided it first drains into a silt pit. The pit used is usually one that is already part of a surface drainage system already connected to stormwater. It comes under SUBSOIL DRAINAGE DESIGNS - DESIGN in AS 3500.3 3in1 Supadiverta.
