Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Jul 16, 2016 11:43 pm Hi all, I am doing an owner builder and have just had my texture done on the first level. The product used is wattyl granosite and has been applied by reputable trades. The product is rock hard when dry but when it rains the texture becomes noticeable soft and corners can be easily rounded off with your thumb. Nails can be pushed into texture and if I wanted could quite easily peel texture off. I have had both texturer and rep back on site but only in a dry situation(no issue when dry). Therefore could see no issue. I have looked at approx 10 other textured houses in wet conditions and texture remains hard in wet conditions. Could anyone shed some light or give a little advice on this as I am ready to drop scaff next week and would like to have this resolved. Thanks for your time . Mark I've dug some footings to embed a post anchor into. My holes are around 450mm deep which I'll put a 200mm stirrup into.
