Anyone can suggest why this would be required? The land is not flat and there is fall from rear towards front. Approx 1m fall I would say. Could this be reason for retaining wall? How much can it cost for such retaining wall for 14m wide lot? We are trying to do some budgets and hopefully the cost of retaining wall wont be too much. thanks, Looking to build a home in VIC. As the back of the block is higher they will be planning to cut into it which is why you need a retaining wall to retain the garden/back fence.
