Get a quote for the fence, and the fencing contractor will chase up half the payment with your neighbour direct, so you don't have to deal with them 2. Contact the neighbours and have them agree in writing before proceeding with the fencing Which one is correct? Or is there another method? Some willing to chase it up with ur neighbor if you provide the details and also they will wait till both parties pay the deposit. Some will give you the quote so you chase it up. This will be the common one so you need to download the form from the council for requesting adjoining land owners address details.
