Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Jun 02, 2016 5:18 pm Hi all, I recently got my DA approved for my duplex project, and I'm now trying to organise a Construction Certificate. Here is my question: Do I need (is it necessary) to get architectural plans? I have contacted Structural Engineers, some say its not necessary because they can work off DA plans, others say it is risky not getting it and recommend it. Architectural plans aren't cheap, so I will only get it if its needed, being a first time developer any thoughts or opinions are welcome. Note: I will use a construction company with a turn key contract. Study books - does anyone really use them these days? Large storage closet would be more functional. 2 6882 |
