She does all the homework based on your requirements. The process is so easy. I've asked our mortgage broker to shop around for us too but it wouldn't hurt to ask another as often they have their list of preferred lenders and don't often stray from it. I spoke to a rep at loans.com.au who emailed me an offer of 3.99% with no ongoing fees. 4.01% comparison rate (due to initial valuation and set up fee). I sent that email to my mortgage broker and asked him to match or better that offer. He managed to get my current lender to match it I was paying 4.95% - rip off!
