Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Apr 16, 2016 9:28 pm Hi, we are selling our house & I would like to decorate our square dining table. It's chocolate, with chocolate chairs, brown blinds & a chocolate bookshelf! So a lot of cold, dark pieces. I want to add some lighter colours, warmth & textures, maybe some greenery, but having trouble with shapes, dimensions. I love table runners but I think maybe would look odd on a square table? I am thinking of making my own round textured mini tablecloth to place a centrepiece on. Any ideas for centrepiece & table runner/mat? Thankyou Help please, decorating square table 2Apr 17, 2016 4:03 am I have similar scheme and 1.5m square dining table. I love table runners but think they only work on rectangles (?) I have greeny blue accents and white breaking up the choc and think it looks good. A textured square mat in the centre with an attractive fruit bowl looks good. There are some lovely square place mats around.. Pomegranates look great with Granny Smiths, a pineapple, oranges and bananas (colourful). Check out Freedom or similar furniture/homeware shops for ideas. Their visual merchandising is good. No idea about the driveway question, but your price for a house that size including landscaping seems very good! 1 6155 Hi, Really struggling to find some consistency amongst Span Tables, can anyone help… 0 2655 Thankyou so much 😀 I've decided on White on white for doors and trims, White on white 50% on ceiling and Mt buller for walls. Fingers crossed it will look OK 😀 2 7149 |
