Ok so I have googled and called Engineering Australia but no luck.
How can I find out which insurance company our structural engineer had Professional Indemnity insurance with? He was registered with NER at the time
Our engineer has not responded to our lawyers letters so now needing to try and take action against him (based on 2 independent reports)

The engineering is the engineering. It's irrelevant how much material you have. Unless it fits the requirements of your design the engineer can't "make"it work. You might…
