Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Mar 30, 2016 7:59 pm Hi all, Looking at refreshing my backyard and giving it a new look. As this will be my first reno, I'm after some guidance on building a raised tiled floor. - Currently have old pavers - Wanting to raise the entertainment area to the same level of the slab house (140mm) - I want to tile it with either 300 x 600 or 600x600 tiles - 30m2 area What are my options? As laying a slab down would probably cost too much even though thinner tiles would be cheaper. I could build a frame and use Scyon Secura to lay thinner tiles down? I've been looking into Buzon Pedestal systems, which seem VERY easy to do. They cost about $13 a piece and would require around 120 pieces to cover 30m2. Requirement is that the tiles are 'pavers' at 20mm thickness and are porcelain - I'm finding it hard to come across these and finding prices on them? - Located Melbourne S.E Suburbs http://www.ausdrain.com/files/8813/7162 ... ochure.pdf http://www.pasco.net.au/site/buzon?COLLCC=1956186872& Cheers, Ash Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ You have mandatory building inspections and privately engaged building inspections.
