Their land or not they are NOT allowed on site without the builders permission. Suppliers are given the builders permission to supply materials...they can enter the site. It's a grey.....and ugly situation Being a builder is more than just having once held a hammer. It's about the trades you hire and ensuring that they give a result that meets the industry standard and the home owners expectations. But then stated in the second post: lovepub I wouldn't say it's an official handover. The builder towards the later stage just slowed down and is not finishing off little jobs. I still owe him couple thousand dollars , but the work he left undone is more than what I owe him. He seem not want to continue anymore. So I guess that is it from him. Should I request him to send me a letter that the house is officially handed over to me? or just leave it as is.
