Will request the insulation, how does it work with single brick wall as there is no cavity?
I have requested bed 4 to be 4x3 which will fix the wardrobe as well.

Also, bed 4 could have the wardrobe lengthened a little while still being able to open the door, otherwise the space there won't get used for anything. Re: Opinion on floor plan 23Jan 16, 2016 6:29 pm Your island breakfast bench would be much better if it ran the other way, at the moment it goes from media wall into kitchen , break it away from wall and begin it a metre from scullery wall finishing at end of your kitchen , ,that way foot traffic can walk right around it. Its old fashioned to join the breakfast island to a wall as it cuts off your kitchen been accessed . Do you mean putting the fridge recess, wall oven and pantry on the media wall and the island bench starting on the other side wall? Re: Opinion on floor plan 27Jan 21, 2016 3:33 pm One of the things I like in winter, especially if feeling sick, is to be able to go to a room in the house and sit or lie down in the sun. Northern sun coming in not only warms the house, but also makes it feel better on a cold day. You have access to the Northern sun out the back but the media room has no window there, and the living space sunshine is shaded by the alfresco. I'd look at swapping the Media room window as suggested before, and possibly also rotating the alfresco with the long edge along the media room instead, leaving some of the living space exposed to Northern sun entry. I can see David's point regarding East vs West living, but I think it's a complex issue. Western living generally leaves more glass exposed to the West, but western bedrooms can leave it hard to get to sleep from the heat, and steeper temperature gradients through the night in both summer and winter as it cools off. Also in a west-coast climate, you get the prevailing breezes from the same direction as the setting sun, which adds an extra challenge that the east coast doesn't have. Overall, the layout looks quite nice. If I were to pick areas that may be improved, here are some ideas that come to me,
