Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Dec 15, 2015 8:29 am Hey Guys Not sure what kind of wooden fence we have.. but pretty basic one.. Been 2 years of build and looks pretty new still. But we have seen fences around which have been for a while that have gone really grey and looks rotten. Want to avoid that. What can we do with the fence. We have sprinklers so it is hit with water as well every couple of days. What can we do? Paint? Stain? what type? brand? Any cost approx if we get someone with a spray gun and stuff? Anyone recommended in Melbourne? Re: Paint / Stain Wooden Fence 2Dec 16, 2015 1:01 pm We bought a Bosch paint sprayer from Bunnings last year and painted our entire fence using Dulux weathershield paint. It's looking really good and should last many years. Make sure you invest in good quality outdoor paint. The paint sprayer was about $139 from Bunnings (Bosch PFS 65). You'll definitely save some money if you can do it yourself. Re: Paint / Stain Wooden Fence 3Dec 17, 2015 9:37 am I highly recommend a sprayer. I watched my neighbour hand painting his, took all day for 1 coat. We sprayed 1 coat in 10 minutes, and then did a second that afternoon. This is a 27m fence. Paint sprayer is worth every cent. ~Shellby~ GJ Bridgewater 203 11/3/2016 - Site Work Started 29/9/2016 - Handover 142 Work Days 6 Work Days Over https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=80174 Hi, planning on using the attached stone pieces in my bathroom.
