Hi,
Im just curious how the termite protection system works. As I check the piers under the subfloor, I saw the termite protection shield wrapped around the bottom of the piers (close the the earth). While on the side wall of the house, they put it on top of the brick to cover the holes. I was thinking that they should do the same for the piers as termite might come through the holes of the bricks and reach the timber joist of the subfloor if they dont cover the top of piers.
Is this normal practice? OR should I raise this concern to Site manager?
Thanks
