Hey guys,
14 weeks into my build and I finally have a slab!
It's a huge slab. About 30 piers of 4m depth, fully suspended raft slab, and on one side the slab has a drop edge of 1m.
Went to go check it today and noticed around the front porch, there seems to be a part where the slab pour has gone under the formwork and sort of seeped out and created a massive blob of concrete. Was just wondering where the slab tends to burst and bulge when poured, will the builder cut off the 'offcuts' when finishing the slab?
Also noticed this on the lower edge brick seat on the drop edge beam, it's sort of spilled everywhere and created a shell of concrete over the ground.
