Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Sep 16, 2015 12:03 am Hie guys, I am building with Coral homes in Newcastle and realised my roof pitch is 20 degrees. Its a single story the Noosa 28 & I have noticed that its too low for my liking and too late to change now as the frame is up. I am having a Trinity Facade to it which has a blade wall and a brick pier on the garage door. My colour scheme is as follows Roof- Prestige Slate Grey Broick- Metallix Titanium Gutter- Monument Window Frames- Monument Downpipe Monument Facia- windspray white Garage Door- Teak (wood Look) Any suggestions on how to make the pitch look too flat. Im really sad about this at the moment. I cannot believe I oversaw this one Re: LOW PITCH= 20 degrees - good or bad 2Sep 17, 2015 3:06 pm I don't have a problem with low pitched roofs at all. That also depends on what style your house is and what kind or facade as well. In my opinion they look sleeker than the older style high pitched ones of 30º and up. It's a structural requirement but my point is that first time around it can be hard to visualise. I do know for part of our roof which is 5degrees we needed spandek roofing but that's an extreme example. If it's too late to increase the pitch, then it's probably too late to change to colorbond, or to change the roof layout at all. Do you have any flexibility at all? Is it a case of changing colours to suit the lower pitch? Hello! I've alfresco pitch of 3 degrees sitting just below the highlight window. Need advice on below: 1. Will the 3 degree pitch be ok to drain the rain water? The roof… 0 4192 Why don't you call and talk with someone at the town planning in your council? 1 2178 4 6194 |
