First stop, where is the best place to install a built in wardrobes in these rooms? The room next to the bathroom with be a one year old boy's bedroom and the other will be guest/computer room. Not looking into massive built in's. Can't figure out how to add photo of the plan here.. Re: Built in Robes Locations 2Nov 27, 2015 11:44 pm Not easy without a plan sandds, that's for sure, but here goes. First work out the furniture sizes you want to install. Draw a plan of the room(s) showing the door swing. (I suggest 1:50 scale). Draw furniture sizes to same scale and cut out the furniture shapes and arrange on the plan. Allow 600mm including wall for the depth of the robes (unless walk-in type). I suggest sliding doors if space is tight. Now you can design the rooms yourself...da-da! Good luck designer.
