Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Sep 01, 2015 6:58 pm Hi Guys, I'm currently getting organized to lay the hardwood tongue and groove flooring in the attic bedroom. The exposed beams are visible from downstairs, so I didn't want to use the standard floor cramps that dig in to the floor joists. Just wondering if anyone knows of another system of cramping up the boards that doesn't destroy the visual aspect of the floor joists. Thanks. Yes I did think along those lines if I couldn't find another alternate method. I was also thinking of using a car bottle jack and spacing it to push against the roof beam.
