Hi,
Apologies in advance for this, but it is my first post in this forum.
Today I have had 2 quotes on my "renovation" house in Western Sydney, to identify and remove the asbestos in our 1960"s built house.
Both had very different views!! I have had two experts in, with two very different views. One, who said that everything that I had identified was asbestos related and should be professionally removed, the other indicated that there was only a few of the items that needed to be removed as asbestos.
It's a very emotive subject, as we know, and with two quotes at different ends of the spectrum, it difficult to know who is right and who is wrong!! Its important to do the right thing..
I had two different opinions on our tiles in the kitchen ...where I started to lift the tiles in the kitchen, and saw that they were laid on a fibre board.....one said it was asbestos (but you could still remove the fibre cement form the nail remaining in the floor, without a worry! and one said it wash not asbestos, and I could remove it.
Both appear professional operators...who do you trust?
Appreciate your view on this.
