They allow for a 500 cut and fill then quoted another $4000 to do the rest, this is a 400sqm block so not huge. When we questioned why so much when the digger is already on site we were told its because they have to use a bigger digger as the siteworks are now more extensive. I think part of that is maybe because we have opted for battering in some places instead of retaining. But still seems ridiculous reasoning and husband is now put a hold on everything because hes so annoyed. Oh dear, at this rate see ourselves living on the land in a tent!
