Usually when I have seen a brick veneer place on stumps there is a manhole to have a look under the house to see the stumps. Just had a look at a weatherboard place, and it seems to be sitting very low to the floor or on a slab. How can I confirm what the foundation is? http://oi58.tinypic.com/keb15i.jpg I do not know how old the house is, but I imagine that because of the age it (looks) that it will most likely be stumps? If a restumping was required that would mean that a hole would need to be cut out inside the house I guess. Either way - hoping to get some opinions or ways I can confirm if it is stumps or slab If you're in a flood zone, not only are you dealing with the importation of fill and laying it down in 150 lifts to achieve compaction, you're going to have to consider… 4 5532 Are they stumps or screw piles ?
