Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Jul 08, 2015 11:19 pm Hi guys, I am looking at buying a fibro home at the moment. The is no garage on the house so I am thinking of adding a garage on the end of the house using your ordinary steel frame kit garage but following the house roof line and attaching to the house. I want the house and garage to have the same finish so it doesn't look tacked on so I was thinking of using 'blueboard' or a similar product to clad the garage and redo the house cladding. What product would be best for this? I am looking for a flat finish (smooth or textured) as in no visible joints between the panels. Am I going to have to have some sort of flexible joint between the house and shed/garage to allow for movement between the 2 structures? Any advice or differing ideas are welcome. Best bet is to go into your local dulux trade centre and see if they have some business cards for local dulux accredited texture applicators. These are the only plasterers/painters qualified to do the job properly. Where the shed joins on to the house, there will be an expansion join, your plasterer should be able to supply this.
