Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Jul 02, 2015 1:40 pm Hi What colour should my front door be? I initially had asked my painter to paint my front door BASALT (colourbond). He tried to match colours and got it wrong (its currently a IRONSTONE colour). So he is re-doing it again. So I get another chance to change colours. So please help me pick another colour. Current Colours: * Gutters = monument (colorbond) * Window & Door Frame = black * Other colours are in the picture What colour should the front door be? Re: FRONT DOOR COLOUR? 5Jul 02, 2015 11:24 pm You need an enamel (oil based) paint because it helps protects the door from sun and weather and makes it easier to wipe over and clean. You can choose semi gloss rather than full gloss if you wish. PS great choice Beetaloo!! Building Standards; Getting It Right!
