Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Jun 25, 2015 3:20 pm My Mother has a two year or so old electric storage HWS outside her house. She has a smart meter. A month ago the HWS skipped its heating cycle for 2 nights. No circuit was tripped and no power outage issues. The 3rd night it worked perfect. The HWS worked perfect for another month then a few days ago it skipped 2 nights of a heating cycle. No power outage issues and again no tripping of the power circuit. It is on a dedicated power circuit. Her house is all electric. The HWS is again working as per its usual heating cycle 11pm to 7am. The single element is fine and is working. I suspect a smart metre issue and had the Jemena guys out to check it over and they say their smart meter is working fine. The HWS seems to be working fine too. I am not having power supply to the house issues. Just this fault that has occurred twice in a month and then self corrected. The Jemena guys said it could be a thermostat issue with the HWS. I was after other opinions as I suspect it is the smart meter that is the issue. I wanted to put it out there for an opinion of somebody that maybe in the know. Have I got a thermostat issue or a smart meter issue or even something else? Regards, Does anyone have a suggestion for a good hydronic in slab heating speacialist who may be able to help me with an existing system and wether or not it may need a seperator… 0 4858 thanks Chippy, i hope they have applied sealer but i am doubt to be honest, so i am gonna do this job after handover. 8 16176 the sun master is the solar heating to "warm" the water in the tank the S26 is your hot water system which will heat the water (25 degrees?) so with both turned on you… 3 12023 |
