There are no upfront costs, all fees are paid on settlement. As a seller, do you think it would be worthwhile to gain a "homeworthy", knowing your property is ready for sale, allowing you to maximise your return and giving the buyer confidence in the property? As a buyer, you normally don't know the owner and don't know if they got the certificate legitmately or not, you are taking that chance if you don't get your own inspection done.
