Our land got settled on 10-dec-14 through ANZ and we entered into building contract with boutique homes this January 2015. Problem started when the land and build together went for valuation again at ANZ for the buiild loan and they valued 50K less and hence went to resolve finance for the valuation . Valuation came through successfully with bluebay and i was 2 months pregnant then. I was honest and told the consultant about my situation and he updated that in the application to bluebay and they rejected my application saying loan cant be granted since ill be going on maternity leave soon. We got the result when we are in end of April. Consultant in boutique said lets apply through common wealth and no guarantee that the loan will be approved because i will be going on maternity leave soon. Its a titled land and when we bought it, we planned in such a way we would move in and get stamp duty refund 50% as well. Now called SRO and they told me onlly if i moved into house within 10-Dec-15 (ie., one year after land settlement), ill be getting 50% stamp duty refund.
