It is for the Independent certificate of legal advice. We are just wondering if the price that they are quoting us for their services are reasonable; the fee would be $275 for the service. Does anyone have any idea on the usual fee for this type of service? Thank you Re: Question about guarantor signing witness fee 2May 04, 2015 8:09 am I think that seems reasonable. Similar to implementing Powers of Attorney (which I've had done at around the same price) they are effectively ensuring you have legal capacity and understand the ramifications of signing as a guarantor, and then witnessing the signature (and usually make any required copies of the docs) M Y C U S T O M C O R A L B R O N T E 43 ...............Kitchen! 16 Nov 2016 https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=79581 Been in a similar position and we decided to let the builder go.
