I have a query, our council stamped plans has a private power pole for the electricity but the builder has told me today that for strata title you have a joint power box with separate meters; is this correct? What it will mean is instead of having the private power pole, the electrician will upgrade the power to the front house, then run the power under the front house (clipped to the bearers and joists) and then the power will be taken to the new house at the rear. I'm building with a smaller project builder. Any advice would be appreciated as it does not seem right.
