Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Mar 27, 2015 9:02 am Hi Maybe we now have someone seriously interested in relocating our property to save demolition fees. Seems he has done it before but I am a bit concerned about the whole process, eg them leaving the site a mess; taking longer than expected and delaying our builder; other fixed costs we need to pay anyway. So for those who have successfully done it how did you achieve it, did you come to an agreement; have them lodge a deposit etc any tips or things to watch? I'm kind of thinking it might be more trouble than it is worth? Thank you! leksie Re: House relocation - agreement with person taking house 2Mar 27, 2015 1:22 pm People remove houses all the time, its no biggy. Get a solicitor to draw up a contract. There is another thread on this site about this very thing, they have a sample agreement there for you to use. ou'll have to find it using Search.
