Hi Everyone,
I'm building a new house, 3 bedroom, about 150m2 (or 16sqs).
Thanks to this wonderful forum, I got onto the idea of sarking and my builder is going to include it in my new house for only $740.00
But then I read if you have sarking, you need adequate roof ventilation. At first I thought this applied to colorbond roofs only, but now I think it's also important for tile roofs.
My roof is going to be Boral Concrete Tiles with sarking.
Do I need roof ventilation? How much do I need? Will a couple of whirlybirds do (builder quoting $600 for 2)? What about eave vents (because I don't have any eaves)? And do I need ceiling grilles?
And can I do this stuff after the house is built, or does it have to go in now like the sarking?
And what would be a good price from the builder?
Please and thank you
