Hoping someone can help...
When the Council's talk about 'windows with direct outlook to a neighbours habitable area', do they take into consideration fence height for example (i.e. what is the actual direct outlook you have), or is single level to a neighbours single level never an issue, and therefore no offsetting required?
Further to this, we are building a two level home between two single level dwellings.... will our upper level windows be deemed to not have a direct outlook to a neighbours habitable space, or will our upper level be cross checked against the neighbours lower level windows?
Worried about things like our 5m window splashback in the kitchen getting knocked back. The house next door has lots of windows too so I am starting to wonder how any plans will be approved
