Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Mar 13, 2015 4:44 pm We are currently building a new house. the (porcelain) tiles in the main living area have been laid ..they are terrible, not level with some so uneven that you catch your toes on the edges. The builder has agreed to redo the whole lot of tiling but is going to tile on top of the existing tiles. I think there is an issue with uneven floor boards underneath. This means I am now going to have a step into my bedrooms etc and doors will need to be shaved. I need some advice as to whether this is the best thing to do or should the existing tiles be removed??? Thanks in advance. Looking to tile the facade pillars rather than rendering. Builder is quoting 2500$ laying cost for upto 10msq. The 2 pillars come to be 16msq. So laying costs are 5000$… 0 7524 Hi, I'm clearing the tiles from our horrid 50 year old bathroom and preparing to lay new ones. Bugger of a job getting the old… 0 8084 4 14438 |
