Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Feb 26, 2015 8:57 pm I was wanting to cut at an approximate 45 degree angle with my jigsaw but it doesn't have an adjustable foot. As I only need an approximate angle, is this a safety issue if I just do it manually (i.e. just tilt it 45 degrees)? Is there a technique to this? Re: Cutting at an angle with a jigsaw 2Feb 26, 2015 10:12 pm Clamp a piece of something like 25 x 25mm square timber parallel to your cut, tilt the saw at 45º and rest the jigsaw base along the leading edge of the timber.
