I am also a shopaholic and has spent 2 years planning and designing her home. I have wasted almost a year finding the right colour granite for her kitchen bench top, can source the most expensive tapware in Melbourne, drives 1 hour with a screaming toddler to look at wallpaper...in peak hour traffic I might add...... I'm afraid there is no cure Mrs B Re: Addicted to Homeone?........me?......yes!......I think so!!! 23Jun 19, 2008 10:43 pm Mrs B I'm afraid there is no cure Mrs B Do you really want a cure? I vote no. I spend at least an hour on the forum every day (sometimes two, three or even four hours) and drove 50 kms in 44 degree heat with a 5 yo to confirm that I couldn't get a tile to match the laminate cupboards in the kitchen. I annoy my builder with endless calls and changes to the specs, to which he just sighs and morosely gets on with changing every tiny little suggestion that I get from HO. I will move into the house and wish I had selected tiles as I changed the laminate cupboards anyway . Don't you hate it when work interferes with Homeone? I told myself last night when I got to bed at 1am that I was not turning the PC on this morning........well I've given three kids breakfast, sent two to school, put a movie on the telly for the other and have been sitting here ever since! Seriously though, I am going to get up now and turn the monitor off and go and do my housework. If I get it done really quickly then I'll be back on this afternoon. Takeaway tonight so I don't even have to cook dinner! Yay!
