Just wondering if it is the norm for most builders to NOT accept materials that the client may have or be able to supply?
I am apparently allowed to provide my own light fittings, yet I am unable to provide roof insulation.
The builder supplies ceiling batts as standard and only foil to the underside of the metal roof. They can provide insulation blankets, at a extra cost of course, but can not accept the rolls of insulation I already have as it may cause faults. Hmmm... I would be inclined to think that my light fittings have more potential to cause a fault than simple insulation rolls.
