Hi. I am currently torn between building a new home or buying an established home. One of the items I desire is a double lock up brick garage and if I choose to buy an established home that has no garage at all, is there a very rough / conservative figure for building and adding on a double lock up brick garage to an existing house? Re: Double brick garage cost? 2Jan 24, 2015 9:22 am Hi Herb661 Generally garages are single brick? If you intend turning the garage into habitable rooms/living latter...I suggest you talk to the council first. It cost$ the same as a house per M2.HTH Designer,Engineer (Civil,Const & Envir),Builder,Concrete & Masonry Contract.Struct Repairs id suggest getting an engineer to give you an opinion rather than a builder. 1 16602 I am saying that double brick has similar thermal performance due to thermal mass effect. It will be still very interesting to see the state of your framing after 10-15… 10 29633 5 10405 |
