Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Jun 16, 2008 11:46 am My parents have had an ongoing issue with their neighbour about the fence. It really needs to be replaced as it was tipping over and is also rusting, but the neighbour doesn't want to so he and my dad spent a day re-posting it etc after much discussion. Whats causing it to tip is the neighbours retaining wall. Basically the person that built there cut the slope to far. The neighbour won't fix their retaining wall properly dirt keeps coming out which is causing our paving against the fence to move, and holes to appear. If something doesn't get done soon its likely to pull the carport over (which is attached to the house). We've spoken to council and they've said theres nothing they can do.
Any suggestions of who to contact? We've had an independent report done and they've said its a safety issue. I'm in Adelaide if that helps.
